At Glass Technology, we provide only glass made by the finest automotive glass manufacturers in the world, such as PPG.

Windshield glass comes in numerous sizes and shapes to accomodate today's aerodynamic designs for a wide range of vehicles, including 4-door sedans, 2-door coupes, sports utility vehicles, vans and more. With each basic vehicle being designed and engineered with its own distinctive glass components, you can imagine that there's a whole lot of glass out there! In addition to windshield glass, there's door glass, quarter glass, back glass, sliding back glass, and more. Then there's tinted and shaded glass, with more than two-dozen color schemes. And the list goes on.

There are basically two methods of glass installation:

Windshield Repairs

Small chips can often be stopped before they spread, thus preventing replacement of the entire windshield. Call us for more details, or to make an appointment so we can see if your chip can be fixed.

Windshield repair is a cost-effective alternative to replacement, and many insurance companies will pay for the full cost of chip repair.

Insurance

Your vehicle insurance may cover the bulk of the cost of glass replacement and repair. All it takes is one call to us, and we can contact your insurance company to check on your coverage and arrange the terms.

Glass Technology can perform services for any insurance company and handle all the work for you.

Quality and Safety
Today, an estimated 2,000-plus vehicle makes and models are on the roads. Each make, model and year has individual glass replacement needs. The experts at Glass Technology will ensure that the right installation procedures are used for your vehicle.
(1) Full cut Method Installation means removing almost all the original bead of urethane after the glass is removed, cutting as close to the pinchweld as possible and leaving a very thin layer of the original bead intact. Priming the pinchweld to seal the body and provide the best possible surface for bonding. Then a larger bead of new urethane is applied, and the new glass installed.

Glass Technology only performs the FULL CUT METHOD on all installations.

(2) Short cut Method Installation (Sometimes called the Close cut Method) means removing a windshield by cutting as close to the glass as possible, leaving the original bead of urethane in place. The installer then puts a new bead of urethane on top of the old urethane and installs the new glass. This method compromises the safety of consumers. Glass Technology never uses the short cut method on installations.
At Glass Technology, quality is most important, because we recognize that the safety of our customers is riding on the quality of our products and our services.
